2. Put a thin layer of soil (preferably fabric soil) to cover the cotton rope.
3. Place your plant or flower inside the wicking pot and cover it with plant soil.
4. Pour about half an inch of water inside the pot. The water level must not be over the bottom of the white inner wick pot; otherwise, the root will not have room to breathe and could drown to death because there is too much water. (See the photo for the proper water level).
